Fortunately, there are still ways to build an amazing tiny home while sticking to a budget, as proven by one Texas-based woman.
Delene Shelton turned a Tuff Shed TR 1600 into her dream oasis. Situated on 28 acres in North Texas, the home is the perfect combination of rustic charm and modern amenities. Let’s take a look!
Stone tile floors and shiplap walls are the perfect base for this rustic cabin.
The amazing features of this home extend to the outside, too! There are multiple guest cabins in progress so that visitors have their own space.
There’s an incredible greenhouse for growing produce and plants.
And last but certainly not least – they have even built a chicken coop on the bed of an old truck!
When building a tiny home, sometimes buying a prefab shell (or multiple prefab shells) is a far more economical option than building from the ground up. This method allows you to still customize the inside of the home and choose the finishes, but generally ends up being far cheaper. I really love the way this Tuff Shed build turned out!
